Outdoors + New Event + Shout Outs

August, Don't Leave Us! Summer time, and the living is easy but... August is almost over (ahhh!) We've been doing a lot of desk work lately - juggling new Fall apparel designs, work and kids, and some fun new collaboration opportunities. Things get busy and sometimes overwhelming. One of the best cures is a little time with our divine goddess friend, Mother Nature. And there is no better place to take it in than Kootenay Lake! (Yah I know, we're biased, but can you blame us?) Here's some Kootenay and outdoor inspired eye-candy just for you. The highlight of the month was...

Next Big Thing

Hi all! We hope your intro to Spring has been going well.  We've been very busy prepping for Spring/Summer markets and workshops. However, we were lucky to be able to fit in a great business-focused event this month. We attended the Next Big Thing Conference in Calgary on March 16th.  Next Big Thing is an entrepreneur-focused educational conference for small business owners. We love experimenting with new drink recipes and gin is one of our Spring and Summer mixology staples. In light of our upcoming pop-up shop at Bohemian Spirits in Kimberley this weekend, we busted out their Colossal Gin and got to tasting, I mean... work. And yep, the gin is pink! The dreamy hue comes from the local huckleberries that get added to the mix. Amazing right!? We tried our hand at a Gin version of...

Celebrating a New Kootenay Biz!

Casey's Community House Grand Opening We were super excited to be part of the launch of Casey's Community House in Creston on May long weekend. Casey's Community House (CCH) opened for business as part of the annual Blossom Fest weekend. The weather was great and the crowds were out enjoying various events around town. We spent the day at CCH running our pop-up shop with all of our new Spring apparel and it was a blast. Thank you to everyone that came by to check out the space and say hello to us. We love doing markets and getting the chance to meet and...
